Self Advocates

A Place to Belong. A Future to Thrive.

At ILADD, Inc., we believe that every adult with an intellectual or developmental disability deserves the opportunity to live independently, build meaningful relationships, and thrive within their community. Founded in 2019 and based in the Indianapolis area, ILADD is dedicated to creating housing options, educational programs, and social opportunities that empower self-advocates to lead fulfilling lives. We are more than an organization — we are a community committed to fostering inclusion, confidence, and lifelong growth. Every program, every partnership, and every initiative we pursue is guided by one simple belief: that with the right support, everyone can achieve a life of purpose and joy.

Through innovative programs, dedicated volunteers, and strong community partnerships, ILADD has grown to serve nearly 180 self-advocates across multiple counties in Central Indiana. From independent living classes and social outings to groundbreaking projects like Crossbridge Point, we are continuously expanding the ways we support adults with IDD in achieving their dreams. As we look toward the future, ILADD remains committed to creating new opportunities, fostering self-determination, and building a more inclusive world — one individual, one family, and one community at a time.
